Concerts and Liturgies
The music ministries of Leap of Faith are dedicated to creating postive, fun, and joyful concerts for youth and people of all ages.
These concerts are always open to the public and churches are incouraged to spread the word of the concerts to the community.
The music ministry of Leap of Faith also has years of experience with litergical ministry and would love to celebrate the mass during the weekend visit as well.
Below are the basic options for concerts and liturgies:
Full weekend:
- Play for every liturgy (Saturday and Sunday)-We can play liturgy on our own or work along with current music ministry.
- Two concerts (Saturday after mass and Sunday afternoon)
-Optional: Make one concert a mini-retreat for the youth group.
Hire Price: $1500 + mileage (if over 150 miles from Iowa City)
Other necessities:
-Over-night accommodations either at host families or at a hotel
-Provided meals: Dinner Saturday and lunch Sunday
(Breakfast provided either by host family or church)
Saturday only:
-Play for Saturday liturgy
-We can play liturgy on our own or work along with current music ministry.
- Concert after mass
-Optional: Substitute a mini-retreat for the youth group.
Hire Price: $600 + mileage (if over 150 miles from Iowa City)
Other necessities-
-Provided meal: Dinner Saturday
Sunday Only:
-Play for Sunday liturgies
-We can play liturgy on our own or work along with current music ministry.
-Concert in the afternoon
-Optional: Substitute a mini-retreat for the youth group
Hire Price: $900 + mileage (if over 150 miles from Iowa City)
Other necessities-
-Provided meals: Lunch Sunday
-Payment Options:
To provide payment for services, there are two main options:
Option 1: Pay in full with check
Option 2 (incentive option): Allow a second collection during masses and concerts.
If collection amounts are below the amount owed, the church will cover the difference.
If the collection amounts exceed the amount owed, the excess will be donated to the church’s general fund.
